Deputy Leader of PPM and Tourism Minister Moosa Zameer have said that PPM has won the election and the next step is moving forward at a faster pace.
Speaking to the press at PPM office, Zameer said that the election results show areas where the government should bring changes. Zameer said that based on the preliminary results PPM coalition has won more seats and even the ones which are being counted has high potential for PPM wins. “PPM coalition has won 219 seats. The opposition coalition won 206 seats. This is a huge win for PPM” said Zameer.
Zameer said that there were few misconducts in the election and there was no reason not to accept the results of the election.
