Aasandha board has decided to provide Aasandha from only state owned healthcare providers.
Aasandha company stated that, they made this decision because government owned institutions are able to provide high quality services. The company also stated that they are revising the Aasandha scheme now.
Hence, starting from today Aasandha will not be available from private healthcare providers. However, patients who are already admitted at hospitals will receive Aasandha until they are discharged. Aasandha also requested private institutions to send details of everyone who are being treated by them.
Aasandha informed about this decision to the healthcare providers last night.
