Criminal Court is holding a hearing of JP Leader Qasim Ibrahim right now, and large amount of people have gathered around the criminal court calling to free Qasim Ibrahim and to stop the unlawful hearing.
Lawyers are saying that this trial cannot be held based on the ruling of the High Court. High Court ruling shows that the investigation carried by the police after detaining Qasim unlawfully, will also be unlawful and hence a trial cannot be held based on an unlawful investigation.
Protesters are saying that the government is weakening not because of the opposition but because the government is unjust and is doing unlawful activities.
They say that hence, oppressing the opposition leaders is a great injustice on the part of the government.
