President has dismissed the Chief Communication Officer at the President’s Office M.Finifaru Ali Khalid from his position today.
However, it is not clear why he was removed from the position. Ali Khalid used to be the CEO of TVM and he completed his higher studies in Management. He also used to write for various newspapers in Maldives.
Ali Khalid was appointed to the position after creating a communications department at the President’s Office in 2015. Press and Communication section and Public Affairs section is also run under this department. Ali Khalid is also the chairman of WAMCO.
