STO have stated that, STO will start selling products brought special for Ramadan starting from 12th May. And on 13th May they will also start sending the products to the atolls.
Products will be sold in wholesale from STO number 7 ware house.
Speaking to the press at STO head office, the senior general manager of STO Fathimath Aashan said that even this year STO will focus to prevent shortage of goods and to provide goods at a low price. Aashan said that they have also arranged to provide goods to super marts and shops that work with STO in advance. She said that hence these goods will be available from these places as well.
Aashan said that products like onion, potato and chicken will be available from STO supermart. In addition, she said that cooking oil, condensed milk, canned fruits, and many other products are being sold from STO supermart even now. Aashan said that fresh vegetables and fruits will also be available from STO supermart during Ramadan. In addition, she said that all these products will be available from STO’s regional outlets as well at the same price as Male’.
Speaking to the press the MD of STO, Ahmed Shaheer said most number of services especially for Ramadan will be provided this year. Shaheer said that in addition to food products, STO Supermart is selling other products at affordable prices as well.
