Chancellor of Islamic University, Dr.Shaheem Ali Saeed have said that Islamic leaders should maintain integrity.
“Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his companions also maintained integrity” said Dr.Shaheem. Dr.Shaheem made this statement while speaking at the national conference on creating awareness on integrity. He said that to maintain integrity, it is vital to follow the Islamic ways of upbringing.
“Allah has forbidden corruption and all sorts of evil. There will be punishments on this world and in the hereafter” said Dr.Shaheem. He said that those who are given positions of responsibility should always remain truthful and maintain integrity. He said that Islamic principles should always be followed. He said that when conducting affairs, rules and regulations should be followed and those regulations should be retained in a just manner.
Dr.Shaheem noted the importance of working to save the society from corruption. Dr.Shaheem also assured that Islamic University will always take part in endeavors that are conducted for the benefit of the society.
