PPM council has discussed about the 2018 presidential elections. The discussions were held in a council meeting held today. The council meeting was chaired by President Yameen who is also the chief advisor of PPM.
Speaking to the press after the meeting, the Deputy Leader of PPM, Abdul Raheem said that MDP’s win in the local council election was not that significant and the number of seats won by PPM was less because many PPM members contested independently. He said that they will right the wrongs in the local council election and win future elections. He said that the presidential elections can be won as well after holding discussions with the people and identifying what they want.
This is the first PPM council meeting after the local council elections.
