Housing Development Corporation has celebrated the 13th Hulhumale’ Day. The day is celebrated to mark the inhabitation of Hulhumale’.
Special activities were conducted yesterday at Hulhumale’ Central Park. The activities were mainly targeted for children. The chairman of HDC Fuad Qasim said that even though this day was not celebrated in a significant manner previously, they decided to do it this year.
“Under the president’s, Youth City concept, this city is changing. There are many developments targeted for youth and children. Hence we give a lot of importance to make this city a place suitable for children and youth” said Fuad.
Various children’s activities such as face painting, drawing and coloring were held at the park. In addition, a special cake was cut to celebrate the day. The cake was cut by HDC chairman Fuad Qasim and children who took part in the event.
