Villa College has signed an MOU with Universal foundation to train youths for tourism industry.
The MOU was signed in a function held at QI campus of Villa today. Rector of Villa College, Dr.Ahmed Anwar signed the MOU on behalf of Villa College while Iyaz Waheed the president of Universal Foundation signed on behalf of the foundation.
Under this agreement Universal Foundation will sponsor 20 students to take part in the certificate three in hospitality program run by Villa College. Under this sponsorship, Universal Foundation will provide tuition fees, a monthly stipend of 3000 Rufiyaa, and arrange resorts to complete internships.
The length of the course is 15 weeks and those interested can apply starting from today till 28th June. This program is being run as part of the Discovery Hospitality Initiative of Universal Foundation.
