First Lady Madam Faathimath Ibrahim have decided to assist those who were affected by the cyclone that hit Addu last night.
Representatives from the first lady's office contacted the mayor of Addu City and assured her assistance.
Meanwhile the president have also sent a delegation to check the situation of Addu City. The delegation will be headed by Defense Minister Adam Shareef Umar.
10 houses were damaged during the cyclone. However there were no casualties.
