Health Minister Abdullah Nazim have departed to Geneva to take part in the World Health Conference.
This is an annual conference organized by WHO. The conference will be held from upcoming Monday till 30th May.
Minister Nazim said that the conference will be beneficial to Maldives. The minister will deliver a speech at the conference and will focus on the challenges focused by small nations like Maldives in sustainable development.
In addition the minister said that the purpose of the conference is to plan the agenda of WHO, to formulate the budget and to work on agreements related to the health sector.
