Passengers on board Maria-3 brought to Male’
Passengers on board Maria-3 the landing craft which was lost at sea, has been brought to Male’. They were brought to Male’ via Indian navy ship INS Kritch. When INS Kritch entered the lagoon of Male’ they were then transferred to coastguard ship Nooradheen.

Speaking about the incident at sea, the captain of Maria-3 Adam Naeem said that they got lost because of strong winds and currents. There were 6 people onboard the landing craft when it got lost. They are Adam, his wife Zulaikha and 4 expatriates.

MNDF was reported about the vessel on last Thursday and it was found by the Indian Airforce on 20th May. Even though the people on board the landing craft has been brought to Male’ the landing craft is still out in the sea and Senco Private Limited is now trying to bring it back to Male’.
