Have achieved more than 100 percent in all health-related sectors: Health Minister

Health Minister Abdullah Nazim have said that the government achieved more than 100 percent in all health-related sectors in the last 3 years.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the dialysis center at Villimale’ Hospital the minister said that when the government assumed office there were only 18 beds that can provide dialysis services and now it has been increased to 45. He said that this is an increment of 150 percent.

He said that in terms of the services and the medical expenditures the government has improved the health sector more than 100 percent. “Today two beds have been increased. Some might think that this is less. But in these 3 years we have increased 27 more beds in addition to the existing 18 beds. So this is an increment of 150 percent” said the minister.

In addition, minister Nazim said that the President’s effort to improve the health sector is becoming a success and the opening of the dialysis center at Villimale’ Hospital is an example.
