Sheikh Izzudeen Adnan have said that the worldly riches are temporary and what is important is cleansing your soul for the hereafter.
Speaking at a religious lecture held yesterday, the Sheikh said that when Allah bless people with riches, they go astray. He said that people believe that the world is permanent and forgets the hereafter. In addition, he said that Allah ordered humans to clean their souls. He said that cleansing the soul includes doing good deeds and refraining from all acts that are forbidden by Allah.
Sheikh Izzudeen said that doing right by others and being just is also included among cleansing the soul. He asked everyone to focus on these things.
