Housing Minister Dr.Muhammad Muizzu have said that the government has spent 1.7 billion Rufiyaa to reclaim land in 12 islands.
The minister made this statement at the parliament today while answering a question by MP Abdullah Riyaz of Kinbidhoo constituency. The minister said that the current administration has reclaimed land in 12 islands. He said that the total cost of these projects sum up to 1.7 billion Rufiyaa. Minister Muizzu said that the government has reclaimed 360 hectors of land and developed 10.7 kilometers of revetments excluding the second phase of Hulhumale’.
Housing Minister also noted that based on the performance of the government it will be evident that the President will deliver his pledges.
