High Court upholds criminal court’s decision to jail Mahloof for 6 months

High Court of the Maldives has upheld the criminal court’s decision to jail Mahloof for 6 months. High Court made that verdict while there is just one day left in Mahloof’s jail sentence. In a hearing held on Thursday the 8thof June, the court issued the verdict in the appeal case filed by Mahloof.

Mahloof was sentenced to 10 months and 24 days in jail for disrupting official police work on 18th July 2016.
