Maldivian delegates have started departing to China to take part in the Kunming fair. This year’s fair will be attended by officials of Maldivian Economic Ministry, Saba Maldives, Typical Souvenirs, and Nasooja Private Limited.
Deputy Economic Minister Abdullah Muhammad said that 8 parties from Maldives take part in the fair. Kunming fair is the largest trade fair held in Asia which is organized by China. Many east Asian countries take part in this fair and many South Asian countries also take part in it.
Chinese government covers a lot of expenses related to the fair.
