National Security Committee has approved Muhammad Nasheed (Colonel) as ambassador to Thailand. The leader of DRP, Muhammad Nasheed was approved by the committee and the report says that he has experience in foreign affairs. In addition, it stated that based on his educational qualifications the committee finds that Nasheed’s name should be approved.
Nasheed’s name was approved without any interview. In the next session of the parliament, the report will be announced. Nasheed will be officially appointed as the ambassador to Thailand when the parliament votes in favor of appointing him.
