Leader of Dubai, Sheikh Muhammad bin Raashid Al Mahthoom has honored King of Saudi Arabia Salman Bin Abdul Azeez as the Muslim personality of the year.
This honor was bestowed to King Salman in during a Quran competition held by Al-Mahthoom foundation in Dubai. Islamic Minister of Saudi Arabia, Ah-Sheikh Saalih Bin Abdul Azeez accepted the award on behalf of King Salman.
Sheikh Mahthoom gave awards to the top 10 students of the Quran competition. No Maldivian students were among the top 10 this year.
King Salman becomes the Muslim personality of the year .
