Member of Parliament for Galolhu Dhekunu Ahmed Mahloof has met with former President Muhammad Nasheed in Sri Lanka today.
Mahloof said that while he was in jail, MDP and former President Nasheed assisted him and gave him courage. He thanked them for this.
Mahloof was sentenced to jail under two separate charges and he served his jail term on 9th June 2017. Mahloof got elected to the parliament as a PPM member however he is now an independent member. Sources say that he is planning to join a political party.
Mahloof was removed from PPM after he started criticizing the government openly.
