Chancellor of Maldives Islamic University Dr.Shaheem Ali Saeed have said that muslims will not attack Mosques and sacred places like the Haram. He said that those who do it are enemies of Islam.
Dr.Shaheem said that he condemns the foiled attack on Haram the most sacred place in Islam. "Last year they tried to attack Masjid Ah Nabawi. That is the second most sacred place for Muslims. These acts are totally unacceptable" said Dr.Shaheem.
Dr.Shaheem said that these acts are committed by extremists and noted that Islamic leaders should work to protect important Islamic buildings. Dr.Shaheem also called all muslims not to encourage or take part in any such activities.
Dr.Shaheem also thanked and praised King Salmaan for his efforts in protecting the sacred lands of Muslims.
