Sheikh Imran have stated that this is the time for everyone to stand up and speak the truth.
Leader of Adhalath Party, Sheikh Imran tweeted last night saying that when Adhalath Party noticed these problems in the government only few people believed it and even those who believed it refused to speak about it for various reasons.
“There is not a single Maldivian who does not believe that Colonel Nazim was not framed. There is no country that does not believe this either. When we stand up with these truths, tyrants should give up” said Imran.
Imran further said that the patience shown by the people of Maldives will save them from tyranny and that everyone should work hard with patience.
Imran was jailed after the 2015 May Day protest. Many people say that Imran’s arrest and jail sentence are politically motivated.
