Adhalath Party has called for the release of Colonel Nazim immediately. AP stated that since the letter sent by Adeeb to the supreme court, it has been proven that Nazim was framed.
In a letter sent to the Supreme Court by Adeeb, he stated that Nazim will have no knowledge of the pistol and the bullets which were found in his room.
A statement by AP states that the state failed to complete the required legal procedures in the case and hence he should be freed after reviewing the case.
In addition they stated that AP worked in Colonel Nazim’s defence because they knew that Nazim was framed. They said that they worked with the opposition even though they were political rivals because Nazim was being treated unfairly.
Adhalath Party’s leader is also serving a jail sentence which many people believe is politically motivated.
