Do not accept the fact that Nazim was taken back to jail when the reality about the pistol found in his house was revealed: Azim

Adam Azim the brother of Colonel Nazim have said that he does not accept the fact that Nazim was taken back to jail when the reality of the pistol found in his house was revealed.

Speaking to the press near Male’ Jail he said that Nazim was snatched away and taken back to jail when Adeeb revealed that he knows everything about the pistol found in Nazim’s room and that Nazim has nothing to do with it.

“We believe that the policy and the judiciary should immediately start an inquiry after Adeeb revealed that Nazim has nothing to do with the pistol. However we saw that Adeeb was snatched away as soon as the letter was leaked to the public” said Azim.

Azim said that this shows that the current regime is a tyranny. In addition Azim said that the condition of Nazim’s eye is very serious and when the medical board gave 2 weeks to Nazim to get treatment from abroad the correctional service refused to give it. “ We believe that they cannot do it. They should allow him to get treatment. They should allow him to get treatment from wherever he wants” said Nazim.

Azim said that Nazim and his family requests the Supreme Court to review his case again and the new-found evidence can prove that Nazim is innocent. “ Hence now Nazim is being oppressed on purpose” said Azim.

Previously police revealed that they found Adeeb’s DNA from the pistol found in Nazim’s room.
