Former President Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom have said that he will present himself at the Anti-Corruption Commission to answer ACC’s inquiries about the audit reports of Theemuge the former presidential palace.
In a letter addressed to the President of ACC, Maumoon said that he will be able to present himself at ACC to give a statement on the coming Tuesday or Wednesday. In addition, the letter stated that he will go to ACC with his lawyer Maumoon Hameed.
Maumoon said that he is going to ACC because it is much better for him to go rather than the investigative team of ACC going to him.
