MP Nihaan have stated that the opposition forged signatures of some of the parliament members in the motion submitted to impeach the speaker of the parliament.
Nihana tweeted said that MP Ahmed Rasheed assured that the signature under his name was forged. Nihaan also said that some of the signatories will not vote against Maseeh.
However, a photo showing Ahmed Rasheed signing a document has been leaked on social media. According to MP for Inguraidhoo, 5 signatures were forged in the list. MP for Kinbidhoo, Abdullah Riyaz said that police has the capability to check for the validity of the signatures if any doubts arise.
