Letter sent by Adeeb to Supreme Court regarding the pistol found in Colonel Nazim's house have been presented to UN.
In his letter Adeeb stated that Nazim has nothing to do with the pistol and said that he is ready to reveal how it happened.
The letter was presented to UN by Dr.Shaheed saying that it is proof that Nazim is innocent.
Dr.Shaheed said that the letter was submitted to UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention and UN Commissioner for Human Rights Prince Zaid Bun Raadh Al Hussein's Office.
Nazim's case was reviewed by UN WGAD and they declared that Nazim was arrested unlawfully and asked Maldives to free Nazim. UN gave a deadline to Maldives and it will expire this month.
Shaheed said that he will help Nazim to file the case again when it expires. Nazim was sentenced to 11 years in prison on January 2015.
