A Sri Lankan company has been contracted with installing an incinerator at Thilafushi.
This project was contracted to SAW Engineering Private Limited.
In a ceremony held at Environment Ministry the agreement was signed by Environment Minister Thoriq Ibrahim on the Ministry's behalf. AP Jaya Ratna signed on behalf of SAW Engineering Private limited.
The project should be completed within 5 months and the cost of the project is 2,399,789.80 dollars.
