Member of Parliament for Hanimaadhoo constituency Hussein Shahudy has left PPM. Shahudy was elected as a JP member and later joined PPM.
Shahudy signed the censure motion against speaker of the parliament. Shahudy said that he would like to remain as an independent MP. He said that he will work in accordance with the majority of the parliament.
Shahudy is the second MP to leave PPM after the motion was filed against the speaker. The first member is MP for Dhihdhoo constituency Abul Lateef.
