Foundation laying ceremony for Addu Police Academy has been delayed. Previously it was scheduled for 4:30 pm today.
However the ceremony has been delayed. It is not clear when the ceremony will take place. The Chief Inspector of Police for South Police Division Ali Shareef said that they will announce the new date. According to some sources the ceremony will take place tomorrow how ever this news is not confirmed.
The foundation was to be laid by Home Minister Azleen Ahmed, Indian Ambassador to Maldives Akhilesh Mishra and Commissioner of Police Ahmed Areef. The building will be developed near RAF area and it is going to be developed by a grant from the Indian government.
