Thailand have stated that the trade relations between Maldives and Thailand has increased by 30 percent.
The director of Thailand’s Trade Center Jittima said that the meetings held between businessmen of both the countries was successful.
Jittima said that the trade relations will strengthen as a result of the one-day meeting that is being held at the National Art Gallery. Since goods are brought to Maldives through suppliers, the goods are expensive as a result of the commissions that have to be paid to agents.
The meeting is mainly targeted at construction industry, goods related to the tourism sector and other products of Thailand.
