Indian Ambassador to Maldives Akhilesh Mishra has visited the Civil Service Commission of Maldives. During his visit, he discussed on ways in which CSC and Indian Public Service can strengthen relations and on how Maldivian staffs can get trained in India.
In addition, he discussed about getting training opportunities for CSC staffs on human resource management and information technology since these are important areas that needs to be developed.
The ambassador assured the members of Maldivian CSC that he will try to get assistance from relevant Indian authorities. The Civil Service Commission also assured the Indian Ambassador that they are willing to share their expertise with their Indian counterparts if needed. These include providing research opportunities for Indian civil servants in Maldives and other joint projects.
The meeting was attended by the President of CSC Dr.Ali Shameem, and other senior staffs of the commission. Indian Ambassador was accompanied by the director of Indian Cultural Center Mohammed Khaalig.
