JP Leader Qasim Ibrahim’s lawyers have said that there is no way that Qasim can be forced to discharge from ADK and move to Senahiya Military Hospital lawfully.
Qasim’s lawyers made this statement in reference to the rumors that are being spread on social media saying that government is planning to move Qasim to Senahiyaa forcefully. So far the government has not confirmed or denied it.
Lawyer Shafeeg said that the law does not allow the government to forcefully change someone to another hospital or treat forcefully. He noted that Qasim has not been convicted of any crimes and even now he is a free man.
Government backed media has said that Qasim did not seek treatment from IGMH because of trust issues. There is no difference between Senahiya and IGMH in that regard.
