Dialysis service has been introduced at Noonu Atoll Hospital.
The service was officially inaugurated by Health Minister Abdullah Nazim. The service commenced with two dialysis machines and Noonu Atoll Hospital is the fifth regional hospital to provide the service.
According to the hospital there are 25 people who are in need of dialysis in that atoll. Hence with the introduction of this service, people in this island and near by atolls will not have to travel to Male’ to do dialysis.
