A special ceremony has been held to mark “Police Memorial Day”.
The chief guest of the ceremony was Home Minister Azleen Ahmed. Home Minister Azleen and Commissioner of Police Ahmed Areef talked during the ceremony.
Police Memorial Day is marked to remember police officers who lost their life in the line of duty. The day is marked on 23rd July of every year.
In today’s ceremony, a moment of silence was observed and a special Dua was made for those police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
The ceremony was attended by Home Minister Azleen, Commissioner of Police Ahmed Areef, Deputy CP Ahmed Saudy and senior staffs of police and their family members.
