MP Faisal Naseem of Kaashidhoo constituency said that today all those who advocate for lawful conduct are being arrested in the Maldives.
Faisal Naseem said that the government is oppressing the people and people who are at home should not believe that they can stay at home like this forever.
He said that he does not believe that JP leader Qasim is being denied permission to leave Maldives for treatment lawfully. He said that he does not believe that there is any law that can prevent Qasim Ibrahim from leaving the country for treatment.
In addition, he said that corruption should be stopped, but today the reality is that people who are suspected of corruption are on the loose. He said that this is something which everyone should be ashamed of.
