Faaris Maumoon the MP for Dhiggaru constituency have said that he will fully cooperate with investigations conducted in accordance with the law.
Faaris Maumoon’s lawyer Maumoon Hameed told the press today that the court ordered to keep Faaris in a remand jail but the police tried to conduct Faaris Maumoon’s investigation today at Dhoonidhoo.
Maumoon said that Faaris gave a statement to the police stating that he will cooperate with an investigation conducted in accordance with the law.
Faaris was arrested on 17th of this July from his residence. He is suspected of bribing parliament members to get their support to impeach the speaker of the parliament.
