Islamic University of Maldives and Villa College has signed a memorandum of understanding. In a ceremony held at IUM today, the Chancellor of IUM Dr.Shaheem Ali Saeed signed on their behalf while rector of Villa College Dr.Ahmed Anwar signed on the college’s behalf.
Under this agreement, library resources and research tools will be shared between the two institutions. In addition, they agreed to organize conferences, research seminars, review research papers and to contribute to academic journals of both the institutions.
Furthermore, they agreed to let staffs from both the institutions take part in professional development programs organized by them and to conduct exchange of academic staffs. This agreement will benefit the students of both the institutions and develop the institutions according them.
