United Kingdom has decided to open a temporary visa application center in the Maldives. According to foreign ministry, this was organized by the ministry to allow Maldivians who travel to UK to obtain Visa at ease.
The one day application center will be located at ministry of foreign affairs. It will be open from 9:00 am till 17:30 pm on 16th august 2017.
Those who want to apply through this center should first fill the application from through www.vfsglobal.co.uk/srilanka and make an appointment online.
Foreign Minister Asim thanked the British immigration for arranging this service and said that this will help students to obtain the UK visa without having to visit Colombo.
