Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef has agreed to cooperate to establish a medical college in the Maldives.
Speaking to the press last night at the President’s Office the PM said that Pakistan will assist to develop the health sector of Maldives. He also said that Pakistan will increase opportunities from the health sector for Maldives from Pakistan.
Health Minister Abdullah Nazim said that officials from Maldives and Pakistan talked about strengthening relations with regard to the health sector. He said that soon they will sign an agreement once the bi-lateral talks are over.
Recently Pakistan donated equipments to the health sector.
