Doctors from China are planning to conduct an eye camp in the Maldives.
According to health ministry the camp will be organized by the ministry and National Health and Family Planning Commission with the assistance of Chinese government. The camp will be held in early September.
According to the ministry a team of doctors will visit Maldives on 31st August and patients will be able to consult them as well. They will be working at Hulhumale’ Hospital on 1st August and working at L.Gan Hospital on 2nd and 3rd August.
Those who want to consult the doctors at Hulhumale’ hospital should call 1417 and those who want to consult the doctors at L.Gan hospital should call 6800026. Health Ministry said that those who need cataract surgery will have the option to do the surgery during the camp.
Even in 2015 the Chinese government conducted an eye camp. During this camp more than 200 people consulted and 107 cataract surgeries were done.
