President Yameen have said that Maldives has seen development in the past 4 years at a scale that was never seen before in the country.
Addressing the nation on the occasion of the 52nd Independence Day of Maldives, the President said that among the development projects of Maldives, Velana International Airport is being upgraded and Maldivians will be proud of it. In addition, he said that the seaport of Maldives is being upgraded and that it will open doors for new business opportunities.
The president also said that with the development of IGMH, Hithadhoo Regional Hospital and Kulhudhufushi Regional Hospital, Maldivians will no longer have to go abroad for medical treatment. He also said that with the development of Hulhumale’ and development of housing all families will have the option for a happy life and also life will be easy as a result of CMF Bridge.
He said that all these projects are things that should have been done long back but haven’t been completed due to the incompetency of previous administrations.
