JP spokesperson Ali Solih have said that the Police have taken over Kunooz against the court order which was initially issued to them.
Ali Solih said that the court warrant gave police 72 hours to search the premises and police gave a statement last night saying that they have finished searching. He said that hence, the court order will no longer be used again.
Ali Solih said that the police prevented from JP staffs from entering the office and took over the office. “No one is able to enter Kunooz and they are showing this warrant from last night” said Ali Solih.
The police said that Kunooz will be searched until the time mentioned in the court warrant. They said that the statement given last night was about the search conducted last night and it does not mean the whole premises has been searched.
However Ali Solih said that even though the police said that they haven’t finished searching the building, they have not searched it after last night and they are just guarding the building without letting anyone enter the building. Ali Solih said that it is very clear that they have over taken the building because they don’t let anyone inside the building. He also said that the court order says that they can search the building and it does not state that they can take control of the building.
He also said that even if Police tries to pretend that they have seen “something” from Kunooz that cannot be done. “JP leader has never done anything unlawful nor will he do. That has been proven from all the previous searched on his properties” said Ali Solih.
