Will not cooperate to do anything any unlawful no matter what punishment I get: Sameer
Secretory General of JP, Ahmed Sameer have said that no matter what punishment he gets he will not cooperate to do anything unlawful.

Sameer said that he was summoned to the police station tonight saying that he is obstructing the police, when he refused to cooperate with the police in allowing them to search Kunooz again after they already searched Kunooz on Tuesday night.

Sameer said that the court order shown by the police states that they get 72 hours to search the premises. However, they searched on Tuesday night and gave a statement saying that they did not find any evidence. In addition, he said that police left after giving this statement and if they want to search again they should obtain another court order. “The warrant does not say that they can keep on searching anytime within the 72 hours” said Sameer.

“The warrant is very clear. It gave 72 hours to search. However, it doesn’t say that they can keep on doing that for 72 hours. When you get a single-entry Visa, which is valid for 3 months, you can enter once” said Sameer.

Sameer said that cooperating the police to enforce an unlawful order will not be lawful. “ I try to uphold law. JP tries to uphold law. Hence I will not do anything unlawful. It will be a crime to allow them to search the premises without a warrant” said Sameer.
