Maldives Police Service has issued a summon order to Sameer the SG of JP, requesting to be present at the police station with lawyer at 5 pm on Friday.
He was given the summon order, when he requested to continue his interview with the police with a lawyer, after he was summoned to the police saying that he obstructed the police in carrying out their duty. Sameer said that he was summoned to the police on Thursday night because he refused to cooperate with the police when they came with the court warrant to search Kunooz.
“When I told them that I want to continue with a lawyer they asked to come at 5 pm on Friday with a lawyer” said Sameer.
In addition Sameer said that he will not obey any unlawful order and he will cooperate in all lawful activities.
