MP Abdullah Riyaz of Kinbidhoo constituency have said that the police have refused to accept Ali Hussein as his lawyer.
Riyaz who is also the deputy leader of JP said that the police said that they cannot accept Ali Hussein as his lawyer because Ali Hussein is also a suspect in the case.
Riyaz said that the police told him to get another lawyer and to be present at the police station at 2015 hours on Saturday. He said that this case has no basis and that this was unlawful.
