MP Saud of Villingili constituency have been arrested and taken to the court for a remand hearing.
He was arrested when he went to the police to inquire why police have started a manhunt for him. Police said that they were searching for him regarding an ongoing investigation.
Saud said that he was not hiding from the police. Saud was previously arrested by the police saying that he entered into the premises of the parliament illegally. However he was released because there were mistakes on the arrest warrant.
Previously Saud was arrested saying that he was a private citizen who entered the parliament. Earlier this month the elections commission has decided that his seat has become vacant because he was removed from PPM.
