Secretory General of PPM has denied the rumors that the government is planning to change the Supreme Court bench. Dr.Khaleel tweeted today saying that the opposition is spreading these rumors to influence the ongoing cases in the Supreme Courts. In addition he said that the opposition is desperate and they are trying to create hatred.
Opposition have said that the government is planning to bring major changes to the bench of the Supreme Court and plans to appoint Azima Shukoor the legal affairs minister of the president’s office to the bench of the supreme court. Till now no government authority have said anything about it.
Meanwhile religious scholars have said that it will not be permissible for women to be judges.
