Parliament speaker enters the parliament chamber, and holds session

Speaker of the parliament Abdullah Maseeh entered the parliament chamber today and held the session of the parliament. He was protected by large force of parliament security.

Since the whole area was surrounded by security forces, it was not clear what today’s session was about. A lot of security officers stood in front of the chair parliament. Opposition members were also standing in front of the speaker and demonstrated.

After a while the speaker left the chamber and entered his office. Opposition members and government members exchanged heated conversation. One opposition member referred to Ahmed Rasheed the MP of Isdhoo as “Lying Qaary”.
