Laws can be evaded today but there will be no excuse on the day of judgement : Dr.Majeed

Former Islamic Minister Dr.Majeed have said that today it is possible to evade laws but there will be no excuse on the day of judgement.

Speaking at a gathering held by the opposition last night at M.Kunooz Dr.Majeed said that many people are being punished unjustly and Allah has forbidden to punish people unjustly.

“Even while implementing death penalty there should not be any cruelty. Death penalty should be implemented in the least cruel form. Even animals will try to see justice on the day of judgement day. If you slaughter an animal to eat, it should be done with a sharp blade so that pain would be minimal and without showing it to other animals” said Dr.Majeed.

In addition he said that no matter how powerful you are in this world, on the day of judgement no one has any power and everyone will think about themselves only. Speaking about the rumor that the government is planning to appoint Dr.Azima Shukoor as a judge Dr.Majeed said that it is not permissible in Islam. He said that women can be judges in some civil cased however they cannot preside over criminal cases according to Islamic scholars.

Dr.Majeed said that since criminal cases can be filed to the Supreme Court a woman should not be appointed to the Supreme Court.
